Responsibilities

 

  • Provide critical support on earned media campaigns and their many facets spanning traditional and digital, supported by data insights
  • Develop content for earned media strategies including pitches, press releases, talking points, client briefs, presentation decks and more, bringing a strong proficiency in writing, editing and AP Style
  • Build and maintain media lists for local market and national media outreach
  • Prepare daily media coverage reports to include media monitoring using a mix of platforms such as Meltwater, Signal AI and Google
  • Engage in internal client status meetings, ensuring project pipeline is updated and all deliverables are on track
  • Participate in client meetings and engage in daily client communication to capture and manage updates to strategies, tactics, and timelines, serving as keeper of the details and supporting priorities
  • Collaborate across the agency with digital and data teams to accomplish tasks, and otherwise support the account service team

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, advertising, English, journalism, communications, or a related field
  • Foundation in integrated communications across multiple disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with excellent verbal communication skills, embracing a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines and problem-solving
  • Top-notch writing skills, including knowledge of AP Style, with the ability to develop and edit media materials, media coverage analysis summaries, and research related to restaurant industry and media trends
  • Excellent organizational skills, exacting attention to detail while managing multiple projects and priorities, and the ability to problem solve while keeping sight of immediate and pending deadlines
  • Collaborative spirit while working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to step in as point of contact for clients as needed
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate in a hybrid/remote work environment
  • Desire to express opinions and thoughtful insights to a supportive, collaborative team
  • Interest in participating in research to support proposals, presentations and data-driven solutions
  • Preferred experience with client-facing account management within an agency and/or project management experience with earned media campaigns
  • Familiarity and passion for the restaurant industry a plus
