Account Executive


Position Summary:

This is an individual contributor, sales hunter role responsible for growing profitable revenue in a designated geography in which they reside. This individual will do this by providing technical support and resources while developing channel partner expertise, partnering with distributors on sales, and supporting customers. Internally, this role will provide feedback and support to both Marketing and Product Management.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous in-depth market analysis to measure performance, identify gaps, and develop applicable sales strategies
  • Achieve territory-specific quotas on sales and profitability
  • Manage portfolio and pipeline details in CRM
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with channel partners and customers
  • Generate customized solutions via consultative sales approach
  • Provide technical training, expertise, and support to channel partners
  • Position company as market leader through trade show participation, customer presentations and other activities as assigned
  • Support the development of new products and services as voice of the customer
  • Co-develop enhanced sales tools for channel partners
  • Develop knowledge base on all products, services, pricing, etc.
  • Develop supply agreements, negotiate contracts
  • Travel up to 50%


Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related discipline
  • 10+ years consultative sales experience in an individual contributor role
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with biopharmaceutical / single-use process manufacturing or med device required
  • Understanding of key sales metrics
  • Fluent in relevant market language and culture
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required, including superior presentation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail a must
  • Strong analytical skills and spreadsheeting capabilities
  • Experience with Hubspot or other CRM a plus
