Account Executive

Account Executive (FTL/LTL) – Jacksonville, FL

We are seeking an Account Executive to become part of a 3PL provider! You will gauge sales opportunities and provide extensive customer service to all clients.

About the company:

This company is a rapidly growing third-party logistics (3PL) provider with a primary focus on providing the absolute best customer service possible. They are dedicated to their customers and contracted carriers. An advocate of believing in always doing what is right.

As a 3PL, they offer a one-stop shop for all of you over the road (OTR) needs. This client specializes in the transport of dry-van, refrigerated, and flatbed freight by way of an always-growing network of contracted carriers. They currently provide transportation management services to clients across North America, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate and sell company products and services to new and existing customers and clients
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Close and follow up on sales transactions
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Network and build relationships with new and existing client base
  • Track and trace shipments
  • Perform daily tasks for shipments

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of logistics sales experience

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics and sales
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
