Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, driven, and passionate strategic sales executive to join and grow with our PreK-12 Direct Sales Team. You will work from a home office in your territory with primary focus on new business development with the largest school districts in the country.

For the first time, we are investing in the direct school market channel and looking for someone that is entrepreneurial and hungry to scale this business by expanding the Playaway Products reach across the country. We are looking for a person not only to sell but help drive the strategic direction of this largely untapped channel.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-years previous sales experience within the school market and be able to quickly grasp a broad range of responsibilities and analyze key performance indicators. This role requires the creativity, passion, and initiative to develop sound territory strategies and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Emphasis on fast-paced!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Develop and manage new and existing relationships.
  • Identify sales opportunities to secure new business and increase market share.
  • Work with large school districts.
  • Contribute to a corporate culture centered on cultivating and maintaining excellent customer service.

  • Must be very detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Able to manage high volume workloads and changing priorities.
  • Friendly and professional team player with excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to work well with little supervision.
  • Travel 50% – 65%
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
