Job Description

Department: Wealth Management Investment Services Operations – Paying/Transfer Agent Operations

Performs trade processing activities for assigned client accounts. Uses established procedures to ensure the accurate and timely processing of trades. Provides internal and external customer service. Research problems or issues that arise and performs corrective processing to resolve issues. Tracks and gathers information for statistical reporting. Interacts with clients and other departments to constantly improve operational standards and support client needs by contributing to strategic plans and reviews. Exercise judgment and make decisions that have positive operational impacts on the business line. Collaborate with MMI Account Managers addressing escalations from front office, issuers, dealers, and brokers. Ensure SLA’s and servicing (OA) agreement requirements are met daily.

This role is hybrid located in Wall Street, NY or Saint Paul, MN. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years of experience in transaction processing

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated clerical, key entry, and customer service/relation skills
  • Well-developed ability to identify and resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • General awareness of business, financials, products/services and the market
  • Emerging relationship building and selling skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of account management, project management, operations and logistics
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

Essential Functions:

  • Processing Bankers’ Acceptance request
  • Collaborate with MMI Account Managers addressing escalations from front office, issuers, dealers, and brokers.
  • Optimizing- making funding decisions at DTCC
  • Manual trade entry into DTCC and SPANSGDM
  • Entering in daily task/processing on to SharePoint for tracking purposes

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $25.96 – $34.62 – $38.08
