Business Development Manager

Our client, a global digital marketing agency expanding in the US is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their New York team. One of Campaign’s Best Places to Work and working with clients such as WWF, IKEA and Trivago, our client is looking for a proven digital marketing sales person to help them expand their US operation.

This person should have experience a range of digital marketing services in an agency environment, including paid search, paid social, SEO, web development and more.

This role is a hybrid role and will be on-site in the New York office 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

● Driving your own leads through your own network ● Representing our client at industry events; networking, promoting the brand and meeting attendees to grow leads ● Working with the Campaign Exec to create data and insight led outreach content to target specific industries/sectors ● Managing pitches/RFPs and working with the team to develop decks, research and collateral ● Working with the team to develop commercials for our work ● Helping to onboard new clients into the agency and liaising with clients, working alongside the channel teams, throughout their contracts with us to ensure the clients expectations are met. Requirements:

● Successful track record of hitting sales targets and driving new business revenue ● A passion for data-led technology, media and digital marketing ● Candidates will have 3-4 years experience in an agency sales role ● Knows how to qualify prospects ● Handles sales objections and rejections, using them to adapt approach moving forwards ● Proficient at running RFPs through the agency
