Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Health and Wellness Market functions, staffing and customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing and resolving problems.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the retail aspect of the Health and Wellness Market as well as formulates strategies to increase sales
- Ensures exceptional service is provided to customers by all team members
- Establishes and promotes teamwork between the Health and Wellness Market and the various departments within the building and organization
- Stays current on available product, both private label and third party, by thoroughly reviewing training and/ or product literature
- Maintains working relationships with 3rd party vendors and brokers to ensure staff training and competitive pricing
- Manages customer feedback and/ or inquiries including complaint log
- Creates task list for team to be completed daily, ensures proper staffing and scheduling
- Supervises and directs staff with daily workflow, special projects, and continued education
- Ensures Health and Wellness Market is well stocked, merchandised (per guidelines) organized and maintained
- Proactively plans floor moves, resets, and end cap program based on sales performance, inventory on hand, vendor partnerships, and marketing strategies
- Works closely with the marketing department to ensure lecture series information is correct, sets up marketing campaigns and sales
- Maintains constant and timely communication with director
- Manages opening/closing responsibilities; to include arming, disarming security system; lock and secure store, daily sales reporting, attendance tracking, and bank deposits
- Creates monthly location recap to director including sales, traffic, discounts, and Premier acquisitions
- Attends annual Natural Products Expo to report on trends in the industry and new vendors/products
- Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position

Position Requirements:
- 5+ years of retail supervisory experience within the dietary supplement industry
- Vitamin & Supplement knowledge required
- Bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences or related field preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to create analysis using templates, macros, and other MS Office functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a complex, entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency and customer focus
