National Sales Manager

Key Accountabilities • Commercial execution, growing sales to existing customers and driving new customer wins • Developing and executing the sales strategy to take client to a market leadership position in the USA • Working closely with the executive team to deliver business goals and key metrics. • Inspiring the sales and marketing team with the commitment and belief in the company’s future success. • Growing the sales team and driving continuous improvement • Enhancing the marketing function and activities that support the sales objectives

Key Responsibilities – Sales Leadership • Develop and execute the sales strategy to maximize the market opportunity for the company – short and long-term. • Develop and drive effective marketing to support the sales team and promote the business • Develop the direct and channel strategy, to ensure that commercial success is optimized. This will include expanding the existing channel partnerships and direct prospects. • Ensure the sales team are focused and measured to meet both revenue and margin goals. • Implement robust and scalable sales processes to deliver continuous improvement in the visibility and predictability of sales performance. This will include bid management, account planning, pipeline management and forecasting. • Where appropriate, be personally responsible for negotiating and closing strategic contracts and building top level relationships with customers & partners. • Continually review and prioritize the opportunity base through a deep understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities – People • Provide leadership to the Sales team, whilst fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. • Provide leadership and direction to the marketing function • Integrate into the company, whilst being clearly recognised as the executive sales leader. • Develop the company culture towards stronger market and growth orientation. • Provide regular mentoring, development and training opportunities for the team to ensure that capabilities and skills increase in time and as the business expands.
