The Clinical Sales Manager is responsible for the development and regional execution of sales strategies that drive increased utilization of the groundbreaking technology. The primary responsibility will be to lead, manage, and develop a team of Clinical Sales Representatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with Clinical Sales & Training Director to develop sales strategies to increase utilization at existing accounts
- Lead, hire, and develop an industry-leading clinical sales team
- Coach Clinical Sales Representatives in Quarterly Business reviews with each account
- Drive utilization of the product by working with customers to identify and support opportunities for growth
- Participate in the organization, prioritization, and logistics of system upgrades and new products
- Forecast, plan, and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly utilization volumes to meet and exceed sales quota
- Provide field clinical case support to current customers through training and education as needed
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 5 years medical sales experience with 2-3 years in management
- Strong leadership, communication, and team building skills
- Experience in a clinical environment using complex medical devices
- Comfortable working with medical professionals as well as sales, marketing, and engineering
- Ability to explain complicated technical information in simple terms
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
- Able to accurately forecast utilizing sales reporting tools
- Experience with Google Docs
- Clean driving record required
- Clinical and/or operating room experience
- Experience with medical devices that involve a significant software component
- Start-up experience preferred
- Dental and/or private practice experience preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages a team of Clinical Sales Representatives and Associate Clinical Sales Representatives. This position’s responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; developing and promoting employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Expected Travel
This position requires up to 50% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight.
