Southeast Regional Manager
Job Summary
The Southeast regional Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the Southeastern United States, including installation, service, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional managerial skills to drive growth, ensure operational efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards within the division.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for the southeast region to achieve sales targets, market penetration, and revenue growth. Identify opportunities for business expansion, new markets, and emerging trends. Monitor industry dynamics, competition, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales management team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive residential elevator sales and service. Partner with the sales management team to monitor sales performance, track conversion rates, and provide guidance to the sales management team to achieve targets.
Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Southeast region, including installation, service, and maintenance. Ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met. Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong customer relationships. Address customer concerns, resolve escalations, and ensure timely and effective communication with clients. Conduct regular customer feedback surveys and implement improvements based on feedback.
Team Leadership: Develop, grow, lead, and mentor a team of mechanics/technicians and collaborate with the sales team in the southeast region to foster a positive work culture, promote teamwork, and encourage professional development. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to help accredited team members achieve their goals.
Financial Management: Full P&L responsibility for the region including revenue forecasts, expense control, and profitability analysis. Monitor financial performance, identify areas for cost optimization, and implement strategies to maximize profitability. Analyze financial reports, track key performance indicators, and take corrective actions as necessary.
Quality and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, regulations, and safety guidelines for residential elevator installations and service. Implement and maintain quality control processes to deliver high-quality products and services. Promote a safety-first culture throughout the division.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics, sales results, financial performance, and operational activities. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the elevator industry or a related field, with a focus on the residential segment.
- Strong knowledge of residential elevator systems, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing operations, driving sales growth, and achieving business objectives.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management, reporting, and analysis.
