US Accounts Payable Senior Analyst

Job Description Working within the US Finance team, this role will be responsible for the direct oversight of the US accounts payable process as well as supporting the wider accounts payable team located in the UK. Possessing excellent communication and administrative skills, the US Accounts Payable Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the US offices with, but not limited to, all payment related questions and tasks. The role also includes various reporting responsibilities which will require liaising with external service providers and suppliers as well as other teams within Finance and the organization (locally and in our global offices), including Treasury, Tax, Compliance, Legal, and Operations. This role will also assist with ad-hoc projects as required. Responsibilities: • Review and approve invoices as well as the associated payment instructions • Perform routine processing of US settlement runs and resolve any failed payments • Assist the wider accounts payable team as necessary • Escalate all urgent payment issues to the appropriate individuals • Maintain supplier records and complete new supplier onboarding checks and bank account setup • Liaise with suppliers and manage any issues that may arise regarding payment, service cut-off, etc. • Continuously monitor the AP mailbox and promptly address all incoming invoices and queries • Support the US employees as it relates to their corporate cards and processing of expense reports • Perform month-end reconciliations for the US travel and hotel expenses • Backfill support for payment & controls team during high periods of activity • Monitor external bank account balance and request additional funding when needed • Facilitate the annual 1099 reporting • Produce reports periodically requested by various departments • Proactively question processes in place with a view of continuous improvement • Participate in ad-hoc projects as they arise Key Skills & Experience: • 3-5 years working in financial services, typically an asset management firm • Computer literate with strong Excel skills and exposure to general ledger systems (Workday experience preferred) • Strong communication and analytical skills as well as the ability to multitask Base Salary Range: The anticipated based salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 + benefits + a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant.
