Vice President of Strategic Accounts

As the Vice President of Strategic Accounts Government, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our government sector. Your strategic acumen and leadership skills will be essential in managing and expanding government accounts, ensuring our continued success in this vital segment. Please note this is a full-time position covering the entire U.S.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive, accountable plan to prospect, manage, and grow government accounts. Tailor strategies to meet the unique needs of each account and foster strong, long-lasting relationships.

Contract Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of our existing contracts with government agencies. Develop a strategic training program to educate account managers on how to effectively leverage these contracts to generate revenue and maximize client satisfaction.

Opportunity Identification: Continuously monitor the government procurement landscape to identify new contract opportunities. Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to pursue and secure new contracts aligned with our company’s capabilities and goals.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with government segment directors and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement. Streamline internal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in serving government clients.

Top Account Management: Take charge of the sales and strategic direction for our top 10 largest government accounts. Nurture these relationships, ensure contract compliance, and devise strategies to maximize revenue and client value.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or sales related field.
  • Proven track record in managing government accounts and contracts.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Strategic Accounts selling experience with history of sales performance.
  • Five+ years of commercial experience working with End-Use accounts.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, leadership, and lateral influence skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
